From beginning to end, I had a very outstanding experience from selecting any questions. I had the communication, and overall, the receiving and building of the enclosure was definitely a five-star experience with five-star quality. I am a Toad Ranch fan and customer of Life. I absolutely love the product. It is such a major upgrade from my previous Dubia enclosure!
My one critique would be on the cliffhanger and on the basking hide that there are some pretty sharp points in corners that need to be filed down in my opinion for the safety of my ball python as I do find those edges to be pretty sharp. My one request would be that you find a way to round those edges out either in fabrication or at least maybe include in the instructions about the potential of them being a little too sharp. I do think maybe just a little bit of a more router edge would be more aesthetically pleasing and safer for the reptiles.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier. I just took a file to those edges, no big deal, putting it together according to the instructions. The quality is truly unmatched, and I am very happy and thankful to have received my order even sooner than I expected it to arrive. Thank you to the Toad Ranch team for a wonderful experience. This enclosure is beyond perfection. The packaging was exceptional, all the pieces were in excellent condition upon unpacking. The PVC panels lined up perfectly and with all the pre-drilled holes made it beyond easy to put together. The HDPE front is beautiful, and also lined up to the rest of the PVC panels with precision. I ordered a “quick ship” and I think it only took 7 days to get to me, super fast shipping.
I will definitely buy another next time I’m in the market for an enclosure.

Ive bought 2 of the Bask-N-Hides for my Blue Tongue Skink. I interchange them on cleaning day. My boy loves the hide underneath that we use as a humid hide. It really has helped with his already good shredding. It is a nice height to easily adjust basking needs around.
Excellent quality, looks great, easy to assemble. Be sure to check your temps as the slate holds heat really well!

That’s a helpful note to remind others—slate holds heat very well, so we always recommend checking the surface temps with a reliable handheld infrared temp gun- if it's too hot for the species that you are keeping it is best to reduce the wattage of your bulb & check again, Safety first.

Perfect enclosure for my ball python! Holds temps and humidity really well. Looks great in the home! Highly recommended.
First off, packaging was super secure and safe, no damage to anything whatsoever.
The pieces are all super clean fitting, no overlap, nothing off center, everything fits together perfectly and tightly.
The look is beautiful, the mahogany front is wonderful to sit and stare at while viewing my snake. The PVC is solid, not flimsy at all. The enclosure performs flawlessly holding heat and humidity.
Customer service was SUPER easy to work with even with a couple of late changes to my order and enclosure dimensions, they were kind and understanding, and promptly made the requested changes without any issues (thanks again for that!)
All in all, I see why Toad Ranch has such a reputation as being one of the top tier choices. Stunning enclosures, beautiful performance, fantastic employee team.

A clean and attractive way to cover the pilot holes and screw heads

Beautiful enclosure! extremely happy with the ordering, delivery, quality as well as fit and finish of the finished product. Assembly instructions clear and concise, as was customer service!
Adding a background made a huge difference in the overall look of the enclosure. Many choices are available, but I particularly loves the sunset in the Joshua tree selection. It is bright and happy and always makes me smile. The snake investigates the trees and rocks! The product is very strong and well made. It’s simple to put on when building the enclosure. Having the background made this go from a simple snake enclosure to a work of art that looks wonderful in any room . Highly recommend!
Now that I have it installed, I cannot say enough good things about this enclosure. I ordered the Black Dragon front finish and love it. More importantly, the overall functionality of this enclosure is amazing. The humidity level is staying exactly right and constant misting is unnecessary. My glass enclosure required misting 3x a day to barely meet humidity requirements. Now I only mist occasionally for the air plants. The enclosure is much better at holding heat as well. I only need a 50 watt basking bulb and my Lumenize LED and Jungle Dawn light combo. The environment stays just right, with half humidity and half dry zones. The product comes perfectly packed, each piece identified, and clear instructions. It is very heavy in the packing box, 69#! I had my son put it all together and he was impressed with the clear instructions and how well it is built. All pieces fit together perfectly! I opted for the metal door handles and highly recommend. Very attractive with my black finish and easy to use and install. The enclosure was more costly than expected but I ended up with a beautiful piece of art that is worth every penny! The home is for a Speckled King Snake who moved from 25 gallon glass temporary housing to this mansion. She easily stretches out with 4 feet of room and lounges on her perfect temperature basking rock, alternating between the humid and dry environments whenever she needs. The breed can be secretive and loves a lot of STUFF in the enclosure and places to hide and burrow. This size is perfect for that. This was an excellent choice for me. Thank you Toad Ranch for superior product and service.
This is a great product! I've waited almost a year to write this review and the enclosure has held up great! It's sturdy and holds humidity very well. I sealed the sides with Lexel as suggested and haven't had any leaks. I keep a bioactive, and the plants do well with the increased lip size as do the clean up crew. The only issue was that toad ranch accidentally sent me too few screw covers, but when I asked they sent me more than I needed free of charge. The HDPE sides look great as well. They do make it a bit heavier, but I (5'4'') was able to push the enclosure around and two women were able to lift it with the background in place. it was easy to assemble with a drill (though I bet you could do it with a screwdriver if you were really determined). I also got the stand to go with it, which matches and makes it look like one elegant piece of furniture. My ball python appreciates being at eye level too and takes advantage of all the vertical space. If I ever get another enclosure, I'll go with Toad Ranch again!

Easy to build. Took less than two minutes. So far so good. My beardie loves it! I would definitely recommend and buy again!
Absolutely love the enclosure. I was a little nervous about getting the dragonscale texture but it looks great in person and fits the vibe of the all black furniture in my office. Easy to put together and holds humidity very well. It looks professional from day one and it makes my snake looks spoiled, which he is! Can't wait for the plants to grow more and fill out the space.
My only advice is to know where you're putting your light and heating fixtures before you build it. It'll be much easier to attach everything before you put the top on instead of having to half climb into it.
