Adhesive Back Enclosure Lock

Secure your sliding glass doors with ease using these Adhesive Back Enclosure Lock—designed for tempered glass panels. This low-profile lock helps prevent escapes while maintaining a clean, unobtrusive look.

Please note if your enclosure comes with a frame brace, divider or other custom design you may need to trim down the lock track. See below.

Installation Instructions

1. Remove the Front Glass Panel (Left Side)
Tilt and lift the left-side glass panel out of its track to maximize workspace and visibility of the rear panel.

2. Clean the Glass Edge
Thoroughly clean the edge of the rear glass panel using isopropyl alcohol or glass cleaner to remove dust, oils, and residue. Dry with a lint-free cloth.

3. Mark the Lock Position (Left side of the right glass panel)
Use a measuring tape or a square-edged tool to align the lock track accurately. Masking tape can be used as a temporary guide.

4. Check for Overhang and Lip Clearance

The lock track lip should sit flush against the edge of the glass panel.

For enclosures with frame braces, center dividers, or other custom structural features, it's important to double-check clearance before installation.
Slide the glass panel from one end to the other while holding the lock track in place, ensuring the lock lip does not come into contact with any structural components such as frame braces, center dividers, or custom enclosure features.

If the lock track lip interferes see below to modify the lip before attaching the lock.

5. Attach the Lock
Carefully peel off the adhesive backing.
Press the lock firmly onto the rear glass edge, keeping it aligned.
Hold in place for 30–60 seconds to ensure secure adhesion.

Trimming Your Lock for Clearance

  • Use heavy-duty scissors or tin snips to trim the portion of the lip that wraps over the glass edge.
  • If tools aren’t available, bend the lip back and forth until the lip snaps off cleanly.
