Heating & Lighting Placement suggestion: 

Mount Heat light fixtures no closer than 6" away from a side panel. Place side by side 6-8" apart on center.   ** Do not place fixtures directly above your climbing shelf. 

Reptiles require a thermal gradient to regulate their body temperature. Here’s a simplified guide to creating one:

• Thermal Gradient: Maintain a higher temperature on one end of the enclosure and a cooler temperature on the other. 

• Light and Heat Combination: In nature, the sun provides heat, visible light, and UV as a single source. Similarly, in captivity, heat and light sources should be grouped and directed at the basking zone. This allows reptiles to naturally regulate their exposure.  

• Microclimate: Create separate areas within the enclosure—a warmer basking zone and a cooler, more humid zone. This setup supports reptiles in choosing their preferred environment, just like they would in the wild. 

Caution~

If you are housing a snake or other reptile that can reach up to the light fixture, we always recommend using a wire HEAT LAMP SAFETY BASKET to prevent burns if you are using a heat bulb.  We do NOT recommend the use of ceramic heat emitters in PVC enclosures, the surface temperature of these bulbs get WAY too hot to be used safely inside our enclosures.  Arcadia Deep Heat Projectors are a GREAT alternative to ceramic heat emitters!!

Special care should be taken when using heat bulbs inside ANY enclosures, PVC is no exception.  We ALWAYS recommend using a thermostat controller with any heating device/bulb.

Flat-Packed for Safe Delivery & Easy Assembly:

All enclosures, stands, and hoods are shipped flat-packed to prevent damage during transit.

Each unit is pre-assembled for quality assurance, making final assembly a simple process. Just five body panels and the pre-assembled front frame (with door track already installed) need to be secured—and there's only one screw size required.

Assembly is straightforward: a screwdriver is all you’ll need. Easy-to-follow instructions are included with every order and can also be accessed HERE.
