I was excited when I first saw this as an option. Our ball python adores climbing and I wanted something sturdy and safe. You can pick how high the cliff is set. It attaches fairly easy and feels sturdy. I don't regret getting it since my ball python is up there every night, but will probably diy it or look for other options for our next enclosure due to the higher price.
The enclosure shipped to us earlier than expected, the assembly was simple and came together beautifully. I've got a rather shy ball python so we were nervous upgrading him since they can stress easily and go off food. First night he was placed in his new home he was out exploring, hasn't missed and a meal and absolutely loves climbing all over everywhere. This enclosure is placed in my husband's at home office and is the best looking piece of furniture in there. We couldn't be happier and are already hoping to order another enclosure for our western hognose.
The system and web platform works great! The only issue I had was when I tried to use it with a LumenIZE LED. Per Arcadia, LumenIZE is not supposed to be used with any kind of dimming or auto on /off systems, because it will impact the timing system built into their lighting base. I unfortunately learned this the hard way when my LED light stopped working.
So, I love and highly recommend this system, but if you're looking for it to streamline your lighting, do not use it or any timers with the LumenIZE products :)
As always, Toad Ranch was wonderful with the situation and I still found a way to use it and really enjoy seeing my temp and humidity stats.
