A 7-foot canopy hood is the perfect solution for hiding lamps, cords and other electrical devices when you choose the perforated aluminum screen top for your enclosure.

What comes with your 7x2x1' canopy hood

• A frame that stays looking new. 3/4" HDPE, USA made and colored all the way through, in seven finishes to match your enclosure. It will not delaminate, chip, rot or swell, resists fingerprints, and wipes clean with a dry paper towel.
• Panels built for the climate inside. 1/2" American-made PVC on top, bottom, back and sides.
• Easy access to your fixtures. Two black aluminum sliding doors with 15" x 8-1/2" openings, wide enough for deep dome fixtures. They glide on their own quiet track, with two black acrylic finger pulls. Upgrade to HDPE upswing doors, matched to your front frame, in the options above.
• Airflow for your fixtures. Four vents in our Adaptive Vent (tortoise shell vent) pattern, fully open to move heat away from your lights. Every one takes a cover or a fan, and they double as cord pass-throughs.
• Wiring that stays tidy. Two electrical cutouts for running cords out the back.
• Stacks without spacers. Two stainless steel dowels in our locking dowel system, which lines up across sizes so habitats, stands and hoods interconnect.
• A clean finish all round. Color-matched screw covers, so no screw heads show.

Assembly

Your hood ships flat so it arrives undamaged. Every one is assembled in our shop first to check its quality, so it goes back together at home the way it came apart. All you need is a screwdriver. Instructions are included and also available here.

Shipping

Free freight shipping with lift gate service, included in the listed price, so there are no extra fees. Your hood arrives secured to a pallet, and the lift gate lowers it from the truck bed to the ground. Delivery is curbside, typically at the end of your driveway or the nearest accessible point.

All enclosures, stands, and hoods are shipped flat-packed to prevent damage during transit.

Each unit is pre-assembled for quality assurance, making final assembly a simple process. Just five body panels and the pre-assembled front frame (with door track already installed) need to be secured—and there's only one screw size required.

Assembly is straightforward: a screwdriver is all you’ll need. Easy-to-follow instructions are included with every order and can also be accessed HERE.
