3x2x3' Luxury Arboreal Reptile Enclosure
Towering Design. Jungle-Ready Space. Crafted to Captivate.
Give your reptile room to climb, perch, and explore with our 3-foot tall arboreal enclosure—engineered for vertical movement and immersive habitat design. Whether you're housing snakes, dwarf monitors, iguanas, or tree-dwelling geckos, this enclosure offers the height, safety, and customization to create a stunning forever home.
From lush bioactive builds to rocky outcrops, this enclosure transforms any space into a living showcase. Premium Materials: HDPE structural frame + ½" American-made PVC—non-toxic, easy to clean, and built to last.
What comes with your 3x2x3 enclosure
- Steady heat, humidity under your control. A solid top is standard, so the enclosure holds the conditions you set — humid for a tropical build, dry for an arid one, adjusted with the vents. Most setups run lower wattage than they would in a glass tank.
- A frame that stays looking new. 3/4" HDPE, USA made, UV stabilized and colored all the way through, in seven finishes. It will not delaminate, chip, rot or swell, with superior scratch resistance. It also resists fingerprints.
- Doors that glide. The glass rides on its own track, quiet and smooth, and the track continues down the sides of the opening for a finished edge. Both doors lift and tilt out for cleaning.
- Glass you can trust. Two 1/4" sliding tempered safety doors with every edge polished, certified to ANSI Z97.1 and CPSC 16 CFR 1201 Category II and etched to prove it — the more stringent of the two federal categories.
- Ventilation that moves with you. Four Adaptive Vents across the upper back panel. Every one takes a cover or a fan, so airflow changes as your setup changes through seasons and species. Covers and fans sold separately.
- Panels built for the climate inside. 1/2" American-made PVC on top, bottom, back and sides. Holds temperature steadily and stays true in heat and humidity.
- Wiring that stays tidy. Six cord slots in the top edge of the back panel for UVB, LED, heat and probe leads.
- Stacks without spacers. Two stainless steel dowels in our locking dowel system, which lines up across sizes so habitats, stands and hoods interconnect.
- A clean finish all round. Color-matched screw covers, so no screw heads show.
Built for bioactive
A living build keeps damp soil, roots and water against the walls every day. This enclosure is made for exactly that.
- Plastic, top to bottom. The PVC panels and HDPE frame are made for constant humidity. The frame will not delaminate, chip, rot or swell, and the panels absorb almost no water, so your enclosure stays square year after year.
- Tight seams. Every panel fits snug to the frame, so soil stays in and moisture stays where you put it. For a fully sealed build, run a bead of sealant along the inside edge of each seam.
- Easy to clean. Smooth surfaces wipe down with a damp cloth, and soil wipes off the frame with a dry paper towel.
- Room for real soil. A 6" lower frame comes standard, deep enough for a drainage layer and real substrate for burrowing, and it keeps the glass track above the grit. An 8" frame is available in the options above.
- Airflow you can tune. Every Adaptive Vent takes a cover or a fan, and side vents can be added low or high, so fresh air keeps moving across damp soil without drying your build out.
Configure your 3x2x3
A deeper lower frame, perforated aluminum screen tops, lookout windows, side vents, climbing shelves, grommets, probe channels and custom cuts are all chosen at order time, in the options above. See every option explained.
Prefer fewer vents, extra probe holes or cord slots somewhere specific? Select it above, or email us and we will build it your way.
3x2x3 reptile enclosure specifications
Toad Ranch sizes are true-to-size exterior dimensions. A 3x2x3 measures exactly 36" x 24" x 36" on the outside, which is the number that matters when you are fitting it to a space.
| Dimensions | 36"L x 24"W x 36"H |
| Construction | PVC enclosure with a 3/4" HDPE front frame and 1/4" tempered glass doors |
| Floor space | 6 square feet |
| Volume | 18 cubic feet |
| Gallons | About 135 US gallons |
| Weight | About 74 lb, varying with options |
Species suited to a 3x2x3
Ideal size for smaller species that use the whole space — climbing, basking up high on a branch or rock, and exploring at every level. Room for planted builds, branch work and a vertical gradient as well as warm and cool ends.
These species do especially well in it:
- Crested and gargoyle geckos
- Leopard geckos and African fat-tailed geckos
- Western hognose, rosy boas and Kenyan sand boas
- Juvenile ball pythons, corn snakes and kingsnakes
- Tree frogs, toads and frogs
Growing into something bigger? Enclosures are expandable, so a 3x2x3 can become part of a larger build rather than something you replace.

Heating and lighting for a solid-top enclosure
A solid top helps maintain stable temperature and reliable humidity. Fit your own heating and lighting and the basking site goes exactly where you want it — and moves if your setup changes. Heating and lighting are sold separately.
A typical warm side
- One heat fixture is all a 3' enclosure needs, placed over the basking spot at the warm end.
- A basking bulb chosen for your species and your room temperature
- Prefer warmth with no visible light? A deep heat projector fits the same fixture.
Lighting
- An 18"–24" UVB fixture, covering half to two thirds of the length. See Arcadia's lighting guide for the percentage your species needs
- An LED bar for daylight spectrum, and for plant growth in a bioactive build
Safety
Any heat fixture mounted inside needs a wire safety basket, particularly with snakes and climbers. Always pair heating with a thermostat and a probe. If you would rather keep heat and light outside the enclosure entirely, choose the perforated aluminum screen top above.
Assembly
One screwdriver, one screw size, no special tools. The front frame arrives pre-assembled with the glass track fitted; you fasten five panels to it. It goes back together at home the way it came apart here — same panels, same holes, same hardware.
