Free Freight Shipping with Lift Gate Service Included

No Extra Fees, No Surprises This oversized item ships via freight and arrives secured to a pallet inside a freight truck. The included lift gate service uses a hydraulic platform to safely lower the pallet from the truck bed (typically ~4 feet high) down to ground level.

Delivery is curbside only — typically at the end of your driveway or the nearest accessible point. The freight carrier does not bring the item inside or provide setup.

Built to Last. Crafted to Impress.

Features:

  • Dimensions: 60"L x 24"W x 36"H

  • Front Frame: ¾" HDPE structural frame in your choice of:

    • Woodgrain tones: Mahogany, Teak, Driftwood, Whitewash

    • Textured Black Dragon “Scaled” finish

    • Sleek Matte Black or Matte White

Our HDPE frames mimic real wood grain with stunning realism—yet they’re made from rigid, color-through plastic that won’t chip, peel, or fade. Furniture-grade aesthetics meet industrial-grade strength.

  • Body Panels: ½" American-made PVC—non-toxic, easy to clean, and built to withstand humidity, heat, and wear.

  • Tempered Glass Doors: (2) ¼" sliding doors with polished edges for safety and clarity. Featuring easy lift-and-tilt removal for effortless cleaning and maintenance.

  • Whisper-Quiet Door Track: Mounted above the litter dam to prevent substrate buildup.

  • Side Track System: Adds a sleek finish and prevents escapes.

  • Cord Management: (6) cord slots for RHPs, UVB, LEDs, and heat lamps.

  • Ventilation: Includes (4) Adaptive™ Vents, evenly spaced along the upper back panel for balanced airflow. These vents are removed when the Perforated Aluminum Screen Top is selected.

    • Fan-Compatible Design: Fans available on our Heating & Lighting page. Designed to improve airflow and give you greater control over temperature and humidity levels. Especially beneficial in bioactive setups, fans help circulate fresh air, reduce stagnant pockets, and promote a healthier, more balanced habitat for your reptile.

    • Optional Vent Covers:  Designed to give you complete control over your reptile’s climate, allowing you to fine-tune airflow, humidity, and temperature retention. Whether you're dialing in conditions for tropical species or managing seasonal shifts, vent covers offer precision without compromising aesthetics.

Ackie monitor & home decorator’s dream!

This enclosure has exceeded my expectations. It is absolutely gorgeous as well as being so functional. The shelves make it so much easier to stack the wood and creates a playground wonderland for my little Ackie. It took some time to get the heat high enough, but after some small adjustments it was easily remedied. I also changed the handles for the doors, but it was more for a personal preference. I highly recommend these enclosures and plan on getting more so all my critters can have their own palace!

Hi Jillian,

Thank you so much for the awesome review! It makes our day to hear how happy you are with your enclosure. We put a lot of heart into each build, and knowing it’s working out great for your tortoise and ackie is exactly why we do what we do.

Your setups look amazing!!

We truly appreciate your support and trust in Toad Ranch

AMAZING 10/10

Bought the 5x2x3 for my ornate uromastyx with custom vents (3 low cool side, 3 high hot side) and an 8 inch substrate lip. Also, the matching pedestal stand with a 12 inch height all in teak. Everything came packaged nicely and undamaged. It’s a beautiful enclosure, easy to put together with 2 people and the top does not get hot even with 2 - 100 watt basking bulbs, a uvb, and an LED. Nice thick glass doors. Definitely worth the money will last forever. Just do it - you won’t regret it!

Waited 2 years to write this review!

I ordered the TRC 5x2x3 enclosure with the white front, side windows and side vents for my Siberian ratsnake Frank back in 2023. Now, two years and two moves later l can talk about the pros and cons, starting with the cons:

- Shipping was a headache. The cage was so big they sent it via freight on a pallet. This could not be delivered directly to my apartment, so I had to find a friend with a vehicle big enough to hold a pallet and we picked it up at a place in town; when we got home we opened it in his vehicle and carried the individual parts inside. It was a pain in the butt and I wouldn't have bothered with it for any other piece of furniture.

- One of the glass doors had a big scratch on it. I should have contacted Toad Ranch to see if they'd offer a replacement but I was so annoyed with the shipping process that I didn't bother (kinda regret that now.)

- Some of the screws have started to rust, which is unfortunate.

Now the pros:

- This massive cage feels very sturdy and I LOVE the material it’s made out of. It’s easy to clean, looks sharp and each piece is LIGHTWEIGHT, which is important because…

- I’ve moved twice since buying it and had to completely break it down and put it back together each time by myself and it’s held up beautifully. It’s extremely easy to remove the millions of screws with a cordless drill, and actually really easy to re-assemble once you’ve got a feel for how it comes together. You can put the bottom piece on your stand and slide it around as needed to let it hang over enough to expose the bottom screw holes. Start with the side wall, then the front, then the other side, then the back and finally the top.

Additional notes:

- I bought the 22.5” Jungle Dawn LED bar and hung it from the top, near the front. This is a wonderfully powerful light for growing plants, my ZZs and lucky bamboo seem to love it! It is very bright, but if you put it near the front of the cage the upper lip of the front panel will hide it so it’s not directly blasting into your eyes.

- I also installed a radiant heat panel from Reptile Basics on the back wall and it’s worked really well--I just screwed it directly into the wall.

- I did not care for any of the stands offered by Toad Ranch as I wanted the cage to sit higher (and I don’t like the heavy visual weight of their blocky stands.) It is a struggle to find something that’s big and strong enough to safely hold such a large cage--I started with a folding table that was rated to hold 1000 lbs, which fit perfectly but was very utilitarian (read: ugly). I replaced it this week with a larger black desk I found on Amazon which didn’t cost too much but looks really nice.

Overall I am happy with my purchase. My snake has room to grow to his full length, the cage looks lovely all full of plants and the ability for me to break it down and move it by myself (and transport it in a small Honda) is a HUGE plus. I certainly couldn’t do that with a standard glass aquarium! The price was hard to swallow but I really do think this habitat will last as many years as I need it to. The things we do for our pets!

Complete Your Showpiece! The beautiful variegated color pattern and texture are highly variable and unique to each piece creating a one-of-a-kind display that is sure to be the highlight of any room!

Exquisite Reptile Displays

With our interlocking dowel system just add a stand and hood to your reptile enclosure for a museum quality display in your living room!
