Note: Backgrounds are manufactured ½" shorter than the listed size. For a proper fit in a Toad Ranch enclosure, trim ½"–1" from the edges.

Important Installation Note

Once installed, this background fully covers the back panel of your enclosure. Please order your enclosure with the vents relocated to the side panels—this option is available in the “Customization” menu on the enclosure product page.

About the Product 
Universal Rocks is the industry leader in realistic rock ledges, backgrounds, and décor for everything from small enclosures to zoo exhibits. These DIY ledge backgrounds are molded from polyurea/polyurethane (similar to spray-on truck bed liner). They are lightweight yet extremely durable and highly realistic. Each piece is unique and colored with a blend of oxides, sands, and crushed rock—no paint is used.

Easy Mounting Option 
Make installation simple with our PVC mounting strips (sold separately). The 3½" × 24" × ½" strips peel-and-stick to the exterior of the enclosure, giving you a solid 1" of material to screw the background into.

Flat-Packed for Safe Delivery & Easy Assembly:

All enclosures, stands, and hoods are shipped flat-packed to prevent damage during transit.

Each unit is pre-assembled for quality assurance, making final assembly a simple process. Just five body panels and the pre-assembled front frame (with door track already installed) need to be secured—and there's only one screw size required.

Assembly is straightforward: a screwdriver is all you’ll need. Easy-to-follow instructions are included with every order and can also be accessed HERE.
