Absolutely Worth the Hype – True Zoo-Quality at Home

Toad Ranch enclosures are everything they’re cracked up to be—and then some. It honestly feels surreal having a zoo-quality enclosure in my own home. The craftsmanship, materials, and attention to detail are on a completely different level.

I own enclosures from another well-known “top” brand in the reptile space, and after comparing them side by side, there is no contest. Toad Ranch is by far superior in every aspect—build quality, durability, fit and finish, functionality, and overall design.

Everything feels solid, professional, and purpose-built for serious reptile keeping. The panels are sturdy, the ventilation is well thought out, the seals are clean, and the overall structure feels like something you’d expect to see behind the scenes at a major zoo or reptile facility.

What really stands out is that this isn’t just a “nice-looking” enclosure—it’s clearly engineered with animal welfare, longevity, and serious keepers in mind. You can tell they care about doing it right, not just doing it cheaply or quickly.

If you’re on the fence and debating between big-name enclosure brands, I can confidently say that Toad Ranch sets the standard. After owning multiple brands, this is the one I’ll be sticking with going forward.

If you want the best, this is it. No regrets—worth every penny.

Great shelves

Used two of the 41" shelves in my dubia 6x2x4 build with a toad ranch background. I ended up using M4 furniture hanger bolts as studs in the back of the hanger supports so I could bolt them upto the dubia enclosures with nuts and washers so the hangers would be removable instead of permanently installing them. Turned out great.

Very Happy with the background

Got a very large background 10x4 total (2 side pieces and a 6x4 middle section) for my dubia 6x2x4 enclosure I am putting together. I have some previous experience messing with vinyl so between the installation video toad ranch emailed me and the product they showed me they used, installation was pretty easy and I got a good system down after the first panel. I cut the large piece to size to fit my dubia panels and everything turned out fantastically, attached pictures include two toad ranch cliff hanger shelves installed as well. Note the enclosure is not finished hence why its so barebones but some nice pictures of the background!

Just wanna start off by saying this is by far the best enclosure I have ever had. The build quality is top notch. Having all the holes pre drilled and counter sunk made assembly super easy. Also the way it is perfectly packaged and shipped to you. You don’t have to worry about anything moving around!!
