This enclosure came highly recommended online in multiple forums. One of if not almost alway the top pick. Made the decision to save up and not cheap out. Boy was that the right decision and it was worth every penny. It’s well constructed, not a single hole misaligned, and packaged so well I think UPS could have dropped it from the truck and ran it over, and I would have not noticed. This is the best investment you could make for your pet and I couldn’t say enough about it. It holds humidity so well I haven’t had to add water in 2 weeks, and it’s still strong. Night and day from every other day in my old enclosure.
Me and my girl are very happy with her enclosure! It maintains humidity fantastically and looks great. The customer service was amazing with all my questions and I always felt updated. Thank you Toad Ranch- Belle & Penelope.
Absolutely love this enclosure. My ball python is enjoying it as well. Very easy to set up! Only thing is I wish I knew ahead of time that I would need to seal the edges with silicone (which meant my snake had to be in a different room while it cured) caused a little bit of an issue as I had already assembled the enclosure in the same room as the snake and had to move my snake into a different room. This is not toad ranches fault, I should have fully read the instructions before assembling. Beautiful well made enclosure!
I ordered this hide for my 7ft boa because it’s almost impossible to find a nice hide that she actually fits in. I found ToadRanch by pure coincidence online one day looking for something else. And my girl loves it! It has enough room for her to maneuver around inside and curl up to bask on top. So for those looking to purchase, the double wide will comfortably fit a 7ft+ columbian red tail boa! I ordered and already have the Triple wide as well for when I finish building her larger enclosure and move her in!
Build: Effective instructions, extra screws, solid construction. A bit awkward to assemble at some points given I was alone. I wish I'd gotten a grommet or two, because I had to cut out a couple of notches at the top for cords.
In use: I have a small testudo tortoise inside. Holds humidity and heat well. Glass fogged up a bit at the very beginning, but that settled out after a week or so. Light fixture brackets are great. Perfect UVB with a 12% T5 HO at the substrate level. The faux wood frame looks slightly "plasticky" up close, but at normal viewing distance, it looks great.
