The ledges give reptiles natural basking shelves and climbing terrain, or flip the panel over for a cave-style layout with more shadow and hiding spots. A step up from the 36" × 24" size, built for larger terrariums and setups with more than one reptile.

Compatibility Fits 48" L × 24" H reptile enclosures.

Note: Backgrounds are manufactured ½" shorter than the listed size. Please order your enclosure with the vents relocated to the side panels—this option is available in the “Customization” menu on the enclosure product page.

About the Product
Universal Rocks is the industry leader in realistic rock ledges, backgrounds, and décor for everything from small enclosures to zoo exhibits. Unlike their other colors, the Cliff Series black is made from a straight polymer base instead of a crushed rock and sand mix, so there is no color transfer to your hands. It is non-toxic, highly scratch-resistant, rated for direct heat up to 200°F (keep any heat lamp or element that could run hotter from touching it), and easy to clean with a rinse or a stiff nylon brush.

Easy Mounting Option
Make installation simple with our PVC mounting blocks, offered as an add-on for this background: (8) 1½" × 3" × ½" blocks and (8) screws. The blocks peel and stick to the outside of your enclosure, right behind each screw point, giving each screw nearly an inch of solid PVC to bite into: the panel plus the block.

Mounting
Universal Rocks recommends 100% silicone along the back edges; the Cliff Series' deep relief holds best with silicone, and the mounting blocks above add a screwed-in hold. It ships rolled or folded. If it arrives tied, untie it slowly so it does not snap open. If it arrives bent, lay it flat in the sun or near another gentle heat source to relax it back into shape. It can be trimmed around equipment with a boning knife, oscillating tool, hand saw or Dremel.

Universal Rocks item code: CLF-4824

Please Note
This is a Universal Rocks product.
